Eugénie Bisulco was born in New Jersey and grew up in an isolated Arkansas community where she learned to drive on dirt roads in a ´69 Chevy Nova and a ´77 Silverado pickup. She camped and foraged in 38 states and lived in England, Holland, France, and Belgium for several months before the age of seven. She received her undergraduate degree in English and Studio Art from Wellesley College, earning honors in Studio Art and graduating magna cum laude. Later, she received a Master of Arts in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked in politics, government, non-profit, education, communications, event planning, and business, having just opened her own LLC – but the career she most often claims on forms is “writer,” something she’s done since she was a wee lass. Songs, comedy, poems, essays, speeches, articles, memos — just about anything to be written, she has written with joy and passion, putting effort into text messages as though they might one day represent her legacy. Her memoir, Naked House, has been in the works for a dog’s age.

Bisulco has travelled enthusiastically her entire life and lived and worked in Italy for seven years, where she was married and where her son was born. She is fluent in Italian and French and has basic knowledge of Spanish and several other languages and dialects. She is an adventurer and will likely try anything at least once. She is an animal and nature lover, a devoted mother and friend, a plant hoarder, and a competitive poker player. She wants to go everywhere and do everything.
